Ajanta and Ellora caves both are situated in Aurangabad District. Apart from this sights Aurangabad has many places that you can also visit, Like Daultabad fort, Bibi-Ka-Maqbara, Panchakki, Grishneshwar Temple and Museum of King Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Aurangabad tourism department started new bus services for city sightseeing tour. Daily two bus tours operates from aurangabad.

Ajanta Caves Bus Tour

Bus departs from Aurangabad Central bus stand at 7:30 am, and journey takes around 3 hours to reach Ajanta caves, bus will drop you at parking area where you can buy water bottles and quick snacks for Ajanta caves trek.

Then you have to take another shuttle bus which will take you to caves entrance point and ticket office.

Your tour bus will wait at the parking area where they dropped you. after visiting caves you have to come by 13:30 pm in the parking area, then bus will leave back to Aurangabad, between back journey bus will stop at the restaurant where you can have lunch. after that bus will proceed to Aurangabad and will drop you at 17:20 pm in CBS.

Tour Timing: 7:30 Am to 17:20 Pm.

Ellora Caves and Aurangabad Sightseeing Bus Tour

Bus tour starts 8:30 Am from Central bus stand, first bus visits in Ellora caves which is 29 km from Aurangabad. Journey takes half an hour to reach Ellora caves, to explore Ellora caves it takes 3 hours, after visiting Ellora caves bus will leave for Daulatabad fort which takes again half hour. Usually, bus stops there for 3 hours, that means you can visit fort in 3 hours. After fort visit bus will leave for Bibi Ka Maqbara and after that bus will drop you at bus stand around 17:30.

Tour Timing: 8:30 Am to 17:30 Pm.
