Daily Bus for Ajanta & Ellora Caves
MTDC (Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation) runs tourist bus for Ajanta & Ellora caves, daily two bus one is for Ajanta caves and second is for Ellora Caves and sightseeing places, except Monday for Ajanta & Tuesday for Ellora.
Pick up and drop point is Central bus stand and few other places as below:

Price: Rs.611/- Per Person,
Departure Time: 07:30 AM
Arrival Time : 5:20 PM
Pick-up and Drop points: Central Bus Stand (CBS)and Cidco bus stand.
Bus often get delayed due to waiting for other tourists, after picking up all tourist passengers bus leaves to next pick up point which is cidco bus stand and stops for few minutes on the way hotels to pick-up tourist (if any),
And bus leaves for Ajanta around 8:30 Am, the journey takes 2 hours approx to reach Ajanta Caves.
Guide is not included in this bus, you have hire tour guide at caves itself. In Ajanta caves at cave no.1 and in Ellora caves beside of entrance ticket counter.

Pick-up and Drop points: Central Bus Stand (CBS) and Cidco bus stand.
This tour is the best option to see Ellora caves and Aurangabad Sightseeing in a day, the tour bus will take you at Ellora caves, Daultabad Fort, Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki.
Bus leaves from Bus stand on time every day around 8:30 am and come back to drop you around 5:30 pm at Central bus stand.

Rates which you can see in the picture is different than published, it’s because earlier they were charging that price per person, but now mtdc increased bus fares little bit.
New bus fare price:
Ajanta caves roundtrip by AC bus is Rs.711/- per person.
Ellora caves and sightseeing tour is Rs.276/- per person.
- Online bus booking is not available and you can only get a ticket at central bus stand on the day of travel or one day prior to travel day.
- Pick up points: MTDC Resort railway station, Central Bus Stand.
Bus Booking:
Currently, bus is not running due to the low tourists because of covid pandemic.

KM Holidays does not do bus Bookings so don’t contact us for bus bookings.
Bus can’t be booked online and you have to book it at central bus stand only, one day prior or day of travel.
You can reach there before bus scheduled departure time and get ticket on the spot.

You have to visit central bus stand one day prior to your tour to book bus tickets.
Or you can avail our car tour services for two days.
