Due to Covid-19 pandemic all tourist places were closed since March-2020 in Aurangabad.
Ajanta and Ellora caves officially reopened on 10 December 2020, and all precaution of Covid WHO standard are getting followed like sanitization of entire premises and social distancing, face mask and routine check-up of staff.
What things you should know before visiting?
- All places are open but there is no offline ticket counter facility due to Covid and you have to get ticket online to get entry in each places.
- MTDC Bus will be resume its day tour soon.
- Bibi Ka Maqbara and Daultabad fort is also opened.
- You have to get private transportation for visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves from Aurangabad as MTDC Day tour by bus is still not operating.
- You have to wear face mask while visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves.
- You have to keep social distance while going to caves.
Modes of Transportation?
- Taxi: Book a taxi for Ajanta and Ellora caves from Aurangabad to do day trips, you can contact us for taxi booking.
- Public Bus: Get a bus to visit Ajanta and Ellora caves by public bus, you have to go central bus stand for Ajanta caves trip you need get in bus which goes towards Jalgaon city. Get ticket till Ajanata caves and get down at Ajanta caves entrance point (Parking). And for Ellora caves you need to get in bus which goes towards Chalisgaon. and get down front of Ellora caves.
- Shared Taxi: KM Holidays has started shared taxi for Ajanta and Ellora caves tours by taxi. You can contact us for more details.
